 Snap-on fastenings: Thermostat dials that have been

attached using this method can be easily released by gi-

ving the lock/union nut a slight turn in the anticlockwise

direction (B). The thermostat dial can then be removed (C).

 The thermostat dial is held in

place by a mounting ring which is held together with a

screw. Slacken this screw and remove the thermostat

dial from the valve (C).

 Screwed on with a grub screw: Slacken the grub screw

and remove the thermostat dial (C).
